Welcome to

Niwot

With the front range of the Rocky Mountains serving as the backdrop of our every day, we get to work, play, and dance here in Niwot, a village of just over 4,000 people situated off the highway between Boulder and Longmont, Colorado. We have fantastic public schools -- Niwot Elementary and Niwot High here in town with two middle schools nearby -- and a handful of private options including Shepherd Valley Waldorf, Boulder Country Day, Dawson School, and many more within easy driving distance. We have locally-owned retail shops with truly unique collections of jewelry and gifts, two craft beer breweries, two coffee shops, a collection of award-winning restaurants, a perfect little Inn, a parade for everything, and the best people this side of the Continental Divide- if we do say so ourselves.

About

In the summer we have free music at Whistlestop Park every Thursday from 5-9pm. We have First Friday art walks every month to showcase our shops and public art. The fall and winter find us at Oktoberfest or the Great Pumpkin Party or kicking off the holidays with an Enchanted Evening or the Holiday Parade. By February we're ready to Wine About Winter at our shop-to-shop wine & beer tasting event. The fun continues all year long.
