Welcome to

Lyons, a small town in northwest Boulder County, is nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is home to just under 2,000 residents and its surrounding areas hold approximately 5,000 residents. The town was founded by Edward S. Lyon who then started a stone quarry business.

With Boulder and Longmont close by, Lyons is in close proximity to city living, but remains a peaceful place to reside. Breathtaking red cliffs border the town, giving it a unique feel. The "red stone" in Lyons has influenced not only its economy, but it is engrained as a part of its history, architecture, and culture.
